The Virginia Forestry Association (VFA) is a private, nonprofit organization, dedicated to sustaining, developing, protecting, and promoting the forest and related resources of Virginia. Its membership consists of individuals, forest landowners, foresters, loggers, forest products businesses, forestry consultants, and a variety of groups who are concerned about the future and well-being of Virginia's forest resources.

Founded in 1943, VFA brings together a diverse membership that advocates both a healthy natural environment and a strong business environment for the benefit of all Virginians.
